...God chooses us...

One of the beautiful things Jesus teaches about prayer and quiet meditation is recorded in Matthew 10: “27 What I say to you in the dark, tell in the light, and what you hear whispered, proclaim from the housetops” Matthew 10:27. Prayer each day comes to us in the quiet dark, in other words, intimacy with God is personal, quiet, and something we feel or hear in our minds and hearts. Here Jesus tells us that what He says to us in quiet prayer comes to us on its way to others. What we hear God saying to us tell it to others, and what we hear God whisper to us we are to proclaim without hesitation from the rooftops. Don’t be afraid of doing this, Jesus, assures us.
In fact He says this: “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I also will acknowledge before my Father in heaven, 33 but whoever denies Me before others, I also will deny before My Father in heaven” Matthew 10:32.
Take time with these words of Jesus and put them into practice. Come to God each day and share with others what He says to you in private.
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, have mercy on me a sinner.
From the Bible:
“Be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine” Romans 1:12.
“Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation” Mark 16:15.
“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you” John 15:16.
