“9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;

            my body also will rest secure,

10 because you will not abandon me to the grave,

            nor will you let your Holy One see decay.

11 You have made known to me the path of life;

            you will fill me with joy in your presence,

            with eternal pleasures at your right hand” Psalm 16:9-11.

These are words I often pray from Psalm 16. Join me today in praying deep thanksgiving for God promising not to abandon you to the grave.

Give thanks to God for letting you know the path to your life.

Give thanks today to God for filling you with joy in His presence, and pray that you will be filled by God with eternal pleasures from the hand of God.

Oh God, You know me through and through.

Thank You for hearing me today.

I need You and want to follow You faithfully today.

Be with me.

Keep Your Holy Spirit alive in my heart throughout this day,

so that I may follow You faithfully in all moments.

When I feel Your presence, help me to acknowledge You.

Do not abandon me, but instead, have mercy on me this day.

I know the path You have laid out for me, and all I ask is for your sufficient grace to follow You.

Thank You for filling my heart with joy in Your presence.

May You fill me now and at the hour of my death with eternal pleasures

at Your right hand.

And this I pray through Jesus Christ, Our Lord, Amen.
