...never give up HOPE in Christ...

ree

There is, in the Book of Job, a great lesson to be learned. Despite all the evil God permitted to fall upon Job, Job never gave up talking to God and keeping His HOPE in God. He complained mightily to God, but he never gave up his HOPE in God.

Here is the final paragraph in Job, God’s final response to Job:

10 And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job when he had prayed for his friends, and the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. 11 Then there came to him all his brothers and sisters and all who had known him before, and they ate bread with him in his house; they showed him sympathy and comforted him for all the evil that the Lord had brought upon him; and each of them gave him a piece of money and a gold ring. 12 The Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning, and he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand donkeys. 13 He also had seven sons and three daughters. 14 He named the first Jemimah, the second Keziah, and the third Keren-happuch. 15 In all the land there were no women so beautiful as Job’s daughters, and their father gave them an inheritance along with their brothers. 16 After this Job lived one hundred and forty years and saw his children and his children’s children, four generations. 17 And Job died, old and full of days” Job 42:10-17.

There is a lesson here for us all: Never — ever — give up your HOPE in Jesus Christ when times are tough, when life goes south and you suffer greatly. Come back to Christ!  Remain with Christ!

NEVER — EVER — GIVE UP YOUR HOPE IN CHRIST!

Lord Jesus Christ, son of the Living God, have mercy on me a sinner.

Oh dear Lord, help me never to give up my HOPE in You. Never let me give up my HOPE in your presence in my life. I need you — today more than ever. Forgive me for sinning against You. Forgive me for thinking that You have given up on me! Forgive me for putting aside my HOPE in You. Pull me back into Your heart. Renew my HOPE in You again. Forever. In Your Name I lift this prayer to You. Amen!

From the Bible:

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13.

“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen” Hebrews 11:1.

“Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord”

Psalm 27:14!
