...pray for peace in Ukraine these days of Advent...

I know this isn’t what you may be thinking of Christmas, but my mind is on the people in Ukraine, and how this war is destroying hospitals, nurseries, homes and small businesses, and hitting hi-rises as well. As winter sets in, and the war continues to beat down the will of these innocent victims, PLEASE PRAY FOR PEACE. Why? Pray that Putin, who wants to go down in history as one of the greatest, if not the greatest, leader in the history of Russia, will lay down his arms once and for all. Sadly, he will be remembered as the cruelest and most destructive leader in their history.

I beg you, pray today for an end to the war. Pray for peace in Ukraine. Do not let a day pass as 2025 comes to an end without praying for peace.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, have mercy on me and on all of us, for we are all sinners. Please bring us peace, for we cannot bring about peace on our own. Stop Russia and Ukraine from killing. Stop Israel and Hamas from killing. Stop the hatred that lives within all our hearts. Stop the escalating threat of nuclear war around the world.
